Scenes from the Shop and Other Places: November

We find ourselves in November with leafless trees and grayer days just moments (it seems) after the longest fall I’ve ever experienced. And by that I mean, sunny days, gloriously warm temperatures, and perfect fall foliage. But November has its own beauty.

We took a walk in Leo Creek Preserve this morning and beauty and peace were on display everywhere.

Back at the shop, we are leaning into Christmas gently, trying to give Thanksgiving its due.

Here are some beautiful holiday candles, great for a host/hostess gift.

We have lovely leather bags from Latico, a family-owned business that has been around for generations.

Fancy a Johnny Was blanket on your next flight? The ultimate travel luxury for those who wander.

Our nod to Christmas includes incredibly soft scarves and trees made from recycled felt circles and birch trees.

Little luxuries always make me happy. This bright beanie is made with cashmere yarn.

Thanks for letting me share a look inside the shop. If you are in Suttons Bay in November, we invite you to come in and see for yourself. Our hours are Tuesday - Friday from 11-4 and Saturday from 11-5. Closed on Sunday and Monday.
