Porch Love

This is a photo of our three season porch. We love this porch. We look forward to sitting on this porch from the time we close it in November until it warms up enough to use it in April or May. Or June. It may be a 3 season porch, but those 3 seasons are compressed into about 6 months. We read on this porch, we nap on that comfortable couch, we eat dinner on this porch. Whenever one of us needs a few moments of quiet, the porch is the destination. A glass of wine, a yummy candle, and a book make for one stupendous evening. On the porch.
This weekend, we visited Petoskey and hiked around Bay View, a summer community with 450 cottages, most of whom seem to respect 'the porch' as much as we do. Here are some photos:
