Leelanau Sunday - Iris Farm

You know those places that look interesting as you're driving along and you always say, "someday I'm going to go back there?" (and usually you never do...).  Well, on Sunday, Steve and I stopped (actually turned around to get to) one of those places.  The Iris Farm is located on M-72 and, in mid-June, is the site of a rainbow of iris blooms.  We didn't really know how it all worked, but we knew we wanted some of those gorgeous flowers in our house.  When we walked into the charming outbuilding, a sign directed us to a pair of scissors and a basket, whereupon we set out to find 5 perfect blooms.

This is what we had to choose from.
